KHK Group, Ltd. is a Texas‐based commercial

construction company located in the Dallas‐

Fort Worth Metroplex. Since 1980, we have

tailored our services to meet our client’s

specific needs for each individual project.

best value for our clients, we also qualify pre-screened local subcontractors

using competitive bidding.

The project was the Historic Star‐Telegram Building in Downtown Fort Worth and consisted of a complete facade restoration and interior work resulting in one of Fort Worth’s Crown Jewels of historic preservation.
XTO Energy Facilities Departments recognized our changing and adaptive companywide safety program. Through education and training KHK Group has been able to significantly reduce the number of lost days due to on the job accidents.
The project consisted of the beautification of the city block at Houston and 6th streets in downtown Fort Worth, including the addition of pedestrian-friendly walkways, new lighting, and steel fencing with attractive planting beds for screening. New modernized bus stops were also added.
An earlier remodel of the façade of the historic building at 714 Main Street in Fort Worth was removed and the building was restored to its 1920’s design with precast stone to replicate the original look.
The award was for the restoration of the building at 714 Main Street, Fort Worth. The original design was restored using precast stone.

This award was given for the restoration of the historic Farmers and Mechanics National Bank, a 24-story building, originally designed by Sanguinet and Staats, that was completely restored to its 1920’s splendor.
The project consisted of interior and exterior restoration of the historical Farmers and Mechanics National Bank building at 714 Main Street in downtown Fort Worth.

Meet Our team

Key Individuals

Kevin Hunkeler : President / CEO

Kevin has been active in the commercial real

estate and construction industry since 1985.

Kevin’s background gives him unique

experience in evaluating clients’ acquisitions,

helping navigate them through the construction

process and maximizing their budgets while

consistently delivering high quality products.

He oversees project managers, contract

negotiation, and cost management.

Herb Biddle : Executive Vice President / COO

Biddle is involved in attending to the

day‐to‐day operational requirements

of the company, strategic, financial,

personnel planning, and business

development. He has over 25 years of

experience as Chairman, President, and CEO of

a large consumer‐based distribution company

and as Executive Vice President and General

Manager of a division of a Fortune 200

Manufacturing Company. He has been

responsible for building construction and

maintenance, safety and health plans, and

code and OSHA conformance.

Tom Stockton : CPA / CFO

Stockton is an accounting veteran with over 30

years of experience, having served as Chief

Financial Officer and Controller with various

manufacturing companies. A Certified Public

Accountant, he is experienced in all phases of

accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and

cost accounting. He joined KHK in early 2012 to

conclude the professionalization of the

accounting and financial functions of the

company.

Project Management

Our team of experienced project managers is

trained to provide the oversight to deliver the

project which the owner and architect

imagined. Critical path scheduling is

accomplished with the use of Microsoft Project,

Microsoft Access and ComputerEase Construction

software as well as other web based construction

management software, ProCore and Submittal

Exchange. Comprehensive scheduling allows

us to meet deadlines and contain controllable

costs.
